At Dar ul-Quran Madrasah, our curriculum is carefully designed to provide children with a strong Islamic foundation that nurtures both their spiritual growth and character development. We aim to connect students with the teachings of the Qur’an, the values of Islam, and the importance of practicing faith with sincerity and understanding.
Our structured curriculum focuses on four core areas:
Qur’an & Tajwid
We place great emphasis on helping children develop a deep connection with the Qur’an through proper recitation and understanding.
Students are taught to recite the Qur’an with correct Tajwid focusing on pronunciation, articulation, and rhythm.
Lessons are designed to suit each child’s pace and ability, ensuring progress with confidence and clarity.
Teachers provide regular feedback and support to help students strengthen their recitation skills and memorisation where appropriate.
The goal is to make Qur’an reading a source of comfort, guidance, and spiritual joy for every student.
Fiqh (Islamic Practices)
Our Fiqh lessons help students understand the daily responsibilities and rituals of a practicing Muslim.
Children are introduced to practical topics such as wudu, salah, fasting, cleanliness, and halal & haram.
These topics are taught in a way that is age-appropriate, relatable, and rooted in authentic sources.
Our aim is to ensure that students know how to perform acts of worship correctly, and more importantly, why these actions matter in their daily lives.
Adab & Akhlaq (Manners and Character)
Character-building is at the heart of everything we do at Dar ul-Quran.
Students learn the importance of honesty, kindness, humility, patience, and respect towards parents, teachers, peers, and the wider community.
Lessons are brought to life through stories from the lives of the Prophets, companions, and righteous Muslims.
Our teachers act as positive role models, reinforcing good conduct both in and outside the classroom.
We believe that good character is the true reflection of faith, and we strive to embed this in every child.
Spirituality & Connection with Allah
Beyond knowledge and action, we guide children to develop a sincere and heartfelt connection with Allah.
Children are encouraged to reflect, make du‘a, and approach their deen with love and sincerity.
We promote an understanding of tawheed (oneness of Allah), ihsan (excellence in worship), and accountability in the Hereafter.
Through reflective discussions and simple spiritual exercises, we help students recognise the beauty of their relationship with their Creator.
Our Approach
Our curriculum is delivered with compassion, patience, and structure. We regularly assess each child’s progress and communicate with parents to support learning at home.
We believe that Islamic education is not just about gaining information — it’s about transforming hearts, habits, and futures.
